Terms and Conditions upon renting of a car from “Autotrade TS” Ltd

Requirements to Lessee

The renter has to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 1/one/ year. The renter must present valid ID card or passport, a registered address and address in Bulgaria at the time of pick up. Non EU citizens must present driving license accompanied with an international driving license.

Age Restrictions

In Bulgaria, the following rules apply for the minimum age:

20 years old – for car groups MСMR, EDMR.

21 years old – for car groups CDMR, CDAR, IDMR, IDAR, SVMR, IWMR, ITAR, SDMR,SDAR, FDMR, FDAR.

25 years old and a valid driving license for at least 3 /tree/ years – for all other car groups.

A Young driver Surcharge of EUR 20,00 per rental applies for drivers under 21 years.

Conditions of Payment

We accept a follow credit cards: American Express, Eurocard / Mastercard, Visa.

Cash payment is accepted in combination with a valid Credit card.

You must present two credit cards to rent one of the following car groups: LDAR, XFAR and XDAR.

INSURANCE

Third Parth Insurance

Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability according to Bulgarian law

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) + Theft Protection ( TP )

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) + Theft Protection ( TP ) limits the renter responsibility in case of damage or theft,for the following Non Waivable amounts:

EUR 200,00 – MСMR, EDMR, CDMR, CDAR, IDMR, IDAR, IWMR;

EUR 400,00 – SVMR, SDMR, FDMR, FDAR, SFMR, SFAR;

EUR 800,00 – PDAR, LDAR, FVMR;

EUR 1 200,00 – XFAR, XDAR.

All rates are inclusive of CDW + TP.

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)

If CDW is already included in the rate, the renter can choose SCDW to eliminate the Non-Waivable Responsibility in case of damage. The price of SCDW is as follows:

Upon return of the car with damage and without submission of a statement from a police for road-traffic accident the renter is obliged, irrespectively of the fault to pay the lessor the full indemnity.

All of the insurances do not cover: damages or losses of the interior of the car, damages or losses of wipers, antenna, signs/badges, CD-player, Navigation system, mirrors, broken windows by negligence, theft of personal luggage, damages of the tires, rims, wheel covers,damages to the underbody of the car.

The insurance coverage as part of the Rental Agreement will becom void if:

The vehicle is being used for the transport of dangerous goods, smuggling of people or goods, an unauthorized driver uses the vehicle or if the driver does not possess the required driver”s license, the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off road driving, cross border occurs without a written permit unauthorized repairs of the vehicle. All of the insurances become void and the renter is fully responsible in following cases: If any damage or theft is not reported to the Police and Autotrade TS immediately and a written Police report is not provided.

Lessee shall be solely responsible for loss of earnings and the full value of the car.

Additoonal Servicies

Delivery and Collection

Delivery / Collection Service is on request. Please contact the local rental office. For Varna, Sofia and Burgas a Delivery / Collection Service charge of EUR 10,00 during opening hours.

Delivery / Collection out of opening hours – Service charge of EUR 20,00 per hour before / after opening hours (but not more than EUR 60,00)

Hire in out of working time

For hire outside working hours is a fee of EUR 10,00 per hour (but not more than EUR 60,00)

One-Way Rentals

For One-Way Rentals within Autotrade TS Locations in Bulgaria a charge between EUR 20,00 and EUR 100,00.

International One-Way Rentals are not allowed.

Cross Border Rentals and Territorial Restrictions

Cross Border Rentals are only allowed on request, one week prior pick up date and replace the copy of documents to driver. Cross Border Rental Fee will be applied.

Airport Fee

When Renting a car from Airport, must pay Airport Fee of EUR 10,00.

Road tax

A Road tax of EUR 1,00 per day occurs.

Additional Driver

An Additional Driver Surcharge of EUR 3,00 per day applies.

Additional Extras:

Accessories are bookable without obligation and subject to availability.

Baby Seat / Child Seat – EUR 2,00 per day

Snow Chains – EUR 2,00 per day

Winter Tyres – EUR 2,00 per day

Navigation System – EUR 4,00 per day

Lost of Key / Documents / Registration plates

In case of lost of car documents, keys or registration plates a Fee of EUR 200,00 applies.

Administrative Fee

In case of accident an administrative fee of EUR 30,00 applies to cover administration expenses.

Refuelling Charge

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to iRent otherwise a charge of EUR 2,00 per liter will apply.

VAT 20 %

All rates are in Euro and exclude 20% VAT
